Wireless Afterglow Xbox One Controller Driver For Windows 10

I have a wireless afterglow ps3 controller that i wanted to use as a PC controller. I was excited when i plugged in the usb dongle into the PC and the controller actually worked after a generic driver install! but after a quick attempt to emulate a xbox 360 controller i realized that the analog triggers were only recognized as a digital button
I have gotten other PS3 controllers to work and emulate XBOX 360 controllers but this one isn't actually recognized as a 'PLAYSTATION(R) 3 controller' instead its recognized as 'wierless controller for ps3'
my problem is that DS3 tools wont see the controller and xpadder doesnt see the analog triggers. And yes i have already tried installing the DS3 motionjoy drivers but it came up with an incompatable driver message.
The generic driver that windows forcefully installs Doesn't see the triggers as analog inputs and i cannot find a compatible driver that does.
I know the controller does actually have analog triggers because they work in the PS3(as an analog input) ex.. to control amount of acceleration
any ideas of what i can do to get the triggers to work as an analog input would be greatly appreciated!
